Artown’s Opening Night celebration is a multi-venue extravaganza rounding out with a performance by Grammy-nominated Mexican-American singer/songwriter Perla Batalla. She performs contagious rhythms spreading pure joy with unique and worldly style influenced by her Latin roots and rich the soul and warmth she honed in a decade as Leonard Cohen’s backup vocalist.
