What To Do
What to do in and around Reno Tahoe
We’re more than free drinks at the quarter roulette table. We’re more than a place to get drinks after 2am. We’re more than just casinos and cheap buffets. Leave your expectations at home. This is Reno Tahoe, where the altitude isn’t the only thing that’ll take your breath away.
Start your day off with breakfast in bed. Take your time: you’re on vacation, you deserve it. When you're ready to get out there, we have several
ski or board resorts in the winter and a
river to kayak in during the warmer months.
For the sports enthusiasts, we’re an NCAA college town that is home to Nevada's Wolf Pack. Reno boasts a Triple-A Ballclub in the
Reno Aces and an NBA farm team in the
Reno Bighorns. Reno also houses the “Taj Mahal of Tenpins” and still finds room to appear as a stop on the PGA tour. For those not content to sit and watch the Reno-Tahoe Open, there are over 50
golf courses to choose from.
If the above seems tiring, you can saunter to a
spa and slip into delightful decadence. Pamper yourself with a facial, mud-wrap, aromatherapy, or just relax with a soothing massage.
There’s no rush to get back out there as Reno boasts a 24-hour
nightlife. The party doesn’t start (or stop) until you say it does. Whether you want to catch a show, dance the night away, be entertained by dueling pianos or become part of the act, or spend a romantic dinner with some soft music, you’re not more than a short cab ride away.
While you’re here, take advantage of all that Reno has to offer. From the socialite to the neophyte, Reno Tahoe has something to offer everyone; and even if you stumble on the slopes, fail with the flirting, or crap out at the casinos, you’ll always walk away a winner.
