We Have Your Style

Sometimes the best part of a trip is what you bring back with you. Reno-Tahoe offers a wide variety of shopping experiences to suit all kinds of shoppers, from big spenders to bargain hunters. Whatever you're looking for, you'll find it in Reno-Tahoe.

Reno is home to an enormous Patagonia outlet store located within Patagonia's Main Distribution Center.  This 19 million dollar, 171,000 square-foot building was awarded a Gold Level Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).  Located on the banks of the Truckee River, Reno's Patagonia lives its brand in America's Adventure Place by striving to balance environmental responsibility, resource efficiency, occupant comfort and community sensitivity.  Stock up on all your favorite Patagonia gear at fantastic outlet prices.

Located immediately west of the store is a great place to try out all that new Patagonia hiking gear.  Take the pedestrian bridge over the Truckee river and follow the path as it opens up to the Tom Cooke Trail.  As you ascend, the city of Reno fades away replaced by the sounds of meadowlarks and sites of small bands of mule deer.  This trail connects to the Steamboat Ditch trail and to Hunter Pass.

Reno has two large shopping malls, the newest, most ambitious shopping adventure is The Summit, an open-air, lifestyle shopping center with over 70 shops; complete with fountains, paths and fire pits to gather round on cool evenings.  The Summit offers a wide variety of shopping and dining that will please even the most demanding patron.

Meadowood Mall, a longtime Reno favorite, is an enclosed regional center located city center and attracting over six million tourists who visit the region annually.  Shoppers will be delighted with over 100 stores to explore.

Cabela's stores are known as premier shopping and tourism destinations, drawing visitors from miles away.  Reno's 125,000-square-foot, large-format destination store is located near the Boomtown Hotel Casino on I-80 near theCalifornia border (8650 Boomtown Road, Verdi, Nev.).  Extraordinary in design and showcasing thousands of products from its world-famous catalog, a customer's average stay at a Cabela's store has been estimated at a remarkable 3½ hours.  Cabela's Reno store hours will be Monday - Saturday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.on Sunday.

Located in the area of Reno's Truckee River Whitewater Park is the Truckee River Arts District. Plan to visit both the CalAve and Riverwalk sections of the district for unique shopping excursions to specialty shops, antique stores, boutiques and galleries. This area is quickly becoming Reno's pre-eminent neighborhood retail, restaurant, entertainment and business district. No big box stores here in this newest, hippest section of Reno.  Link to Map
