FALL FISHING
The Fall bite is starting to come on at all the lakes in the area. I have been fishing on Donner lake and Eagle lake. Donner is just starting to come on . Most of the Mackinaw are in the 2 to 6 pound size. We are getting some Kokes but we are releasing them. I have been jigging over in China cove and Beaver point.
Eagle has been good when you can get out without the wind blowing you off the lake. I have been fishing in the Eagles nest area. I have been trolling little Rapalas in black and white. I have also been doing good with leach I have been getting from Cabelas. Most of the fish are from 17in. to 3 pounds. The fishing will get real good as soon as the weather gets colder. Good fishing to you!
