So let’s get you booking Reno-Tahoe for a convention that uses any of the following facilities:

  • Reno-Sparks Convention Center (RSCC) offers over 500,000 sq. feet of meeting space
  • Reno Events Center (REC) offers 56,000 sq. ft. of column free exhibit space
  • Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center (RSLEC), 20,000 sq. ft. climate-controlled exhibition hall
  • National Bowling Stadium (NBS) offers an after conference activity for convention attendees

and has 1500 peak night rooms or more, uses two or more hotels, and has a minimum of $75,000 in F&B in an RSCVA operated facility. The RSCVA owns and manages the facilities (listed above), which makes it even easier to negotiate the BEST deal. You will be able to pick 3 items from the list below:

  1. Complimentary soda break for exhibitor set up (limited to soda, water, coffee, and tea for exhibit set only).
  2. One free Wi-Fi hotspot in the RSCC or REC.
  3. VIP staff office to include upgraded complimentary continental breakfast and upgraded deli lunch for up to 20 people per day over the show dates.
  4. $7,500 in-kind marketing when booking 1500 - 2000 rooms on peak, $10,000 in-kind marketing when booking 2001 or more rooms on peak.
  5. 5% discount on A/V with a minimum of $20,000 spent in A/V (Association must use in-house A/V company).
  6. 10% per sq ft. discount on RSCC/REC exhibit hall rack rate.
  7. RSCVA will offer a welcome package valued at $3,500.
  8. $2.00 discount per car on parking at the RSCC.
  9. Free board meeting for 25 people to include continental breakfast, lunch, breaks, A/V, and one VIP reception.
  10. 10% discount towards use of our in-house registration staff.

Rules

  • $10,000 Offer only applies to RSCVA facilities and applies to only other cities convention center bids.
  • Offer does not apply to groups already definite or tentative in Reno-Tahoe already utilizing the Reno-Sparks Convention Center, Reno Events Center, Reno-Sparks Livestock Event Center or the National Bowling Stadium.
  • In multiple year bookings, offer applies to only one year.
  • Offer cannot be applied in whole or part of any other offer.
  • Offer applies to groups booked for 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012.
  • This promotion expires June 30, 2010
