Imagine your ceremony out in the landscaped grounds, besieged by panoramic views of Washoe Valley and the Virginia Foothills. As your guests enter into the Event Center to attend the reception, they will be greeted by the inviting ambiance of the Main Room, from the high exposed-beam ceiling and expansive windows to the charming double-sided stone fireplace. Its spacious 4500-square-foot layout creates a refined space for your grand celebration of up to 250 guests.

With the support of our on-site event planners, you can create a custom event tailored to your personal style and budget.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOW MANY GUESTS CAN THE FACILITY ACCOMMODATE?
Tannenbaum can host events for up to 200-250 guests, depending on the room layout.


HOW MANY GUESTS DO YOU SEAT AT A TABLE?
The majority of our guest tables are five-foot round tables that seat 8 to 10 guests. We do have a variety of other table shapes and sizes to fit your needs.


WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH A RENTAL?
Rentals include exclusive facility use for eight hours, you choose the start and finish times. Events must be concluded by 12 midnight. Round five-foot tables and chairs, basic linens and linen napkins in colors of your choice, and two six-foot banquet tables.


CAN WE HAVE A REHEARSAL?
We also let you come in the day before your event, if available, for a rehearsal and to decorate and drop off. This needs to be coordinated with a host and must be done during normal business hours.


WHAT EXTRA CHARGES MAY BE ASSOCIATED WITH A RENTAL?
You can choose to upgrade your rental with many different items, from specialty linens to wedding décor.


DO YOU HOST MORE THAN ONE EVENT AT A TIME AT TANNENBAUM?
We only have one event a day. This is what makes Tannenbaum so private and special!


DOES TANNENBAUM PROVIDE ALCOHOL AND/OR CARRY A LIQUOR LICENSE?
No, Tannenbaum gives you the option of bringing in your own liquor, without hidden fees. However, you are responsible for your guests consumption of liquor and should monitor this responsibly.


WHAT STAFFING DO YOU PROVIDE FOR EVENTS?
We provide one host who will be on site to assist with any facility issues that may come up. This host is not a coordinator, although you can coordinate this service with Tannenbaum beforehand. Tannenbaum does take care of all set up and tear down of tables and chairs.


DOES TANNENBAUM DO CATERING?
No, we do not do catering although we allow you to choose your own caterer, based on budget and needs.


ARE THERE ANY FEES FOR HAVING YOUR CEREMONY AT TANNENBAUM?
There is no additional charge to have your ceremony at Tannenbaum Event Center. We include the setup for inside ceremony and inside chairs. You can also have your ceremony outside on our professionally landscaped grounds. Outside white chairs can be added for an additional fee.


WHAT IF THE WEATHER TURNS BAD BEFORE/DURING THE EVENT?
In the case of inclement weather, we can move your ceremony inside. We also provide road maintenance for our off-season events should plowing or sanding be required.


DOES TANNENBAUM CARRY DISHWARE, SILVER, AND GLASSES?
No, most caterers provide dishware with their services or you can rent from a local party rental store.
