During
the Conference, there will be numerous training seminars, exhibits, and special
events. Training topics encompass
homeland security, operations, legal, medical, alternative aircraft/UAS, and
safety issues, to name a few, and will be addressed by public safety and
aviation practitioners and specialists.
Prior to the start of the conference
on July 9 - 11, there will be three days of Pre-Conference training at the
Peppermill Resort Spa Casino. Conference classes
will be held on July 11 – 14 at the Convention Center. The
exhibit hall will be open on Wednesday from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm, on Thursday, from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm, and on Friday, from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm. On Monday, July 9, beginning at 9:00 am and on
Friday, July 13, beginning at 4:00 pm, aircraft will be flown to and from the Convention
Center.
For the first time and during the
exhibit hours, ALEA will host an unmanned aerial system demonstration area inside
the exhibit hall at the Convention Center.
Companies interested in exhibiting and/or demonstrating their unmanned
systems should contact ALEA.
The Annual Awards Luncheon will be
held on Saturday afternoon at the
Peppermill Resort Spa Casino. During the Luncheon,
newly elected/appointed board members will be sworn into office by ALEA President Kurt Frisz and various awards will be
presented.
