The Chinese New Year marks a time of
transition from the Year of the Dragon to the Year of the Snake. While the
Dragon is said to have brought a year of excitement, unpredictability,
exhilaration and intensity, the Snake is believed to bring prosperity, gracious
morality and great wisdom. To usher in the New Year, beginning February 10,
Reno Tahoe USA is celebrating with an array of special activities.
“Reno Tahoe is a popular destination for
Chinese-Americans year-round,” said RSCVA President and CEO Christopher Baum.
“And with a great concert, several Lion Dances and plenty of dining specials,
February 10-24 is an especially fun time to visit.”
