Many Burners come to the Black Rock Desert via the Reno-Tahoe International Airport.  Following is a list of questions frequently asked by Burners.

1) Does the Airport offer shower facilities?
The Reno-Tahoe International Airport does not offer shower facilities, however please refer to the list of burner-friendly hotels which can meet your accommodation needs.

2) Does the Airport offer storage facilities?
Unfortunately, since the events of September 11th, for security reasons, the Reno-Tahoe International Airport does not have lockers or any storage facility for customer luggage.

3) Does the Airport offer bike racks?
The airport offers a bicycle rack outside Door "D" at the north end of the building.  However, for security reasons, it must not have any storage components attached to it.  In addition, the Airport Authority does not assume any liability for bicycles parked at the airport.

4) Are there people who can assist me at the airport with questions I may have?
Absolutely. Airport Passenger Aides are available at the information booth in baggage claim every day from 7:30 AM to 11:30 PM.

5) where can I find information about what carry-on items I can take on my flight?
You can find information on the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) 3-1-1 carry-on rules and regulations on their website at www.tsa.gov/311.

6) I understand there is a construction project going on at Reno-Tahoe International Airport. Where can I find more information about that?
