The Marketing & Advertising department has the critical role of re-branding Reno/Lake Tahoe as a premier, four-season, resort, recreation and meeting destination.

Goal:
To build the new Reno-Tahoe brand in new and core markets.

Objective:

  1. Increase awareness of Reno-Tahoe among the Frequent Independent Traveler (FIT), convention and meeting planners, the travel trade and local community through advertising, promotions, public relations, etc.; measured through visits to the Web site, calls to the toll free telephone numbers, and BRC (business reply card)/promotion response.
  2. Broaden the information access and purchase opportunity via the Internet, and toll free telephone numbers.
  3. Establish and maintain consistent brand communications by managing the marketing, advertising, and promotion efforts/budgets within the five RSCVA operating units.
